OUR COMMITMENT

Modern Slavery Policy

Medical Curtains is committed to conducting business ethically and taking practical steps to identify, prevent and address modern slavery risks in our operations and supply chain.

Medical Curtains Pty Ltd · ABN 49 650 648 329 · Effective 19 September 2026

1. Purpose

This policy explains how Medical Curtains approaches modern slavery risk. It applies to our employees, contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, logistics providers and other business partners.

2. What modern slavery means

Modern slavery describes serious exploitation where a person cannot refuse or leave because of threats, coercion, deception or abuse of power. It can include slavery, servitude, forced labour, debt bondage, human trafficking, forced marriage and the worst forms of child labour.

3. Our business and supply chain

Medical Curtains supplies disposable medical curtains, medical track systems, accessories and related compliance solutions to Australian healthcare facilities. Our supply chain may include product manufacturers, raw-material suppliers, packaging providers, warehousing, freight and professional services.

4. Our commitments

  • We do not tolerate forced labour, human trafficking, child exploitation or other forms of modern slavery.
  • We expect suppliers and business partners to comply with applicable workplace, human rights and modern slavery laws.
  • We consider modern slavery risk when selecting and reviewing suppliers, particularly where products, materials or labour come from higher-risk locations or industries.
  • We may request information about a supplier's workforce practices, sourcing arrangements, policies and controls.
  • We keep appropriate purchasing and supplier records to support transparency and responsible sourcing.

5. Supplier due diligence

Our due diligence is proportionate to the nature and level of risk. It may include supplier questionnaires, document reviews, contractual requirements, clarification of manufacturing locations and follow-up where concerns are identified.

Suppliers are expected to provide accurate information and promptly notify Medical Curtains of any actual or suspected modern slavery issue connected with products or services supplied to us.

6. Reporting concerns

Employees, contractors, suppliers and members of the public can raise a concern in good faith without fear of retaliation. Reports will be handled sensitively and shared only with people who need the information to assess and respond.

7. Responding and remediation

If we identify a credible concern, we will assess it promptly and take action appropriate to the circumstances. This may include seeking further evidence, requiring corrective action, supporting remediation, suspending orders, ending a supplier relationship or referring the matter to an appropriate authority.

Our response will prioritise the safety and interests of affected people and avoid actions that could cause further harm.

8. Training, responsibility and review

Management is responsible for implementing this policy. Relevant team members will receive guidance appropriate to their purchasing and supplier-management responsibilities. We will review this policy at least annually and update it when our operations, risks or legal obligations change.
